K S Sudeep is an experienced Associate Professor at GITAM deemed to be University Hyderabad Campus with over 13 years of experience in academia. He is a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Behavior & Mentoring Analyst. Prior to his academic career, he worked as an Engineer in the EDA industry for 4 years and 4 months. K S Sudeep holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from VRCE (now VNIT) Nagpur, 1997, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering and an M.Tech from IIT Bombay. He has published several research papers in international journals and conferences, mainly in the areas of graph theory, algorithms, mathematical modeling, bioinformatics, and machine learning. He has worked as a Senior Lecturer at IIT Guwahati and as an Assistant Professor at NIT Calicut for 10 years and 8 months. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at GITAM deemed to be University (Hyderabad campus) since Feb 2021. K S Sudeep's research interests include Graph Theory, Combinatorial Optimization, Randomized Algorithms, Social Algorithms, AI, and Machine Learning. He is also a writer and occasionally writes on social, cultural, and political issues. K S Sudeep specializes in Algorithms, Graph theory, C++ programming, AI, Communication skills, Engineering Pedagogy, Creative use of Social Media, Inclusive policies and equity, Resistance against racism and gender discrimination, Unix shell programming, Tcl/tk, Debugging, and Translation (between English and Malayalam). At GITAM University Hyderabad, K S Sudeep teaches Artificial Intelligence, Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and its applications, Formal Languages and Automata Theory, Design and Analysis of Algorithms (all for undergraduate students). He also guides B.Tech. and M.Tech. projects, Ph.D. students on various projects in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, etc. Additionally, he holds additional responsibilities as an Internal Auditor, NBA Accreditation Coordinator, and Student Mentor.
